Lynette is a life coach and meditation guide, her colourful past has brought her to this place and she is now thriving in life, doing something she is passionate about and truly feels alive.

In the past Lynette struggled with depression, from age 12 she had daily thoughts of suicide, these thoughts only left her about 2 years ago.  Lynette has been on an inner journey of self discovery and self healing, meditation was something that shifted things for her and that is why she is so passionate about sharing it with her community. Lynette’s passion is people,  to create safe spaces for people to share what is going on for them without judge, spaces where people find their own answers and they leave feeling empowered and loved.

1)      What is your name and where do you live?

My name is Lynette Gray and I live in Edinburgh.

2)      What is your favourite soulventure?

I love exploring Scotland’s beaches with my 9 year old son Elias, 3 year old Chihuahua Wolfie and friends. The last beach we explored was a private beach called Seacliff in North berwick which is incredible. Elias and his friends were swimming in the sea for hours until they went a slight shade of blue they were so cold.  We foraged seaweed together, collected beautiful shells and stones and we climbed some rocky hills.

3)      What’s something that no-one would guess about you?

I’ve had a nose job.

4)      What single thing would improve the quality of your life?

A car, I am ready to get a car now and when I have one it will create more time for me, my son and my business.

5)      If you could be doing anything, anywhere, right now, what would it be?

Travelling 5 star around the USA with Elias.

6)      Of what are you most proud?

In April this year I came off antidepressants after being on them for 8 years. I worked on myself daily for the entire time I was on the tablets, I am grateful that they allowed me to see life a little differently, but I am so proud that I have finally come off them and healed.

7)      Who do you most admire and why?

I admire Jo Jo Fraser who you can find on Instagram (@mummyjojouncut). She has just written her first book which I am reading at the minute and it is amazing.  Jo Jo shares her story and holds nothing back, she discusses mental health and for me that is a step in the right direction, we must talk openly about mental health.

8)      Best kiss of your life?

The last man I was in a relationship with Mario, we met on a course where we were strangers and had to stare into each other’s eyes for 30 minutes. We fell in love instantly and the kiss afterwards was divine.

9)      What is a new skill you’d like to learn (and why?)

To sing!  I would love to sing in the women’s circles I facilitate as I believe it would be so healing for all the women attending. It would add something extra to the magic we already create.

10)   Woods, mountain, city or sea?

All of the above, I love all these places and the great thing about living in Edinburgh is they are all on my doorstep.

11)   If you could say one thing to lots of people, what would it be?

YOU ARE ENOUGH.

12)   What makes you happy?

Connecting to people deeply.

13)   What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Luca’s Ice-Cream with a massive large waffle cone.
